SIMSPORTNews Academy announced that they would be starting the academy going into Season three of the 2018 period. Driver coach Luis Emerton said, “The board meetings having been going especially well, we’ve been able to get a structure to the academy that we believe will work very well for the drivers.”

Selections will start later this week, with the new closing date for applications on Wednesday 30th May and the ten drivers that make it into the academy will be contacted on the Saturday before week 13 with more information about the academy.

Drivers that want to be coached in the Mazda MX-5 will be given a discounted price on the entry fees for the Heusinkveld Mazda MX-5 World Tour that is broadcasted by the Global Sim-Racing Channel.
