The Lionheart Retro Series presented by ButtKicker picked up another major partner today, with Sam Maxwell Customs coming onboard for 2019.
“This is huge,” Lionheart founder Jorge Anzaldo said. “Sam Maxwell Customs is synonymous with quality sim racing hardware. I have to thank series regular Marc Cohn, who made the connection for us. Marc and Sam have a great partnership and because of that, Lionheart drivers will have an amazing grand prize for the 2019 Season”.
As part of the partnership, Sam Maxwell Customs will provide the champion of the Lionheart Retro Series presented by ButtKicker with a custom Momo wheel and button plate. The champion will receive their choice from four options created by Sam Maxwell Customs.
“When you think about sim racing wheels, that’s the bread and butter for a driver,” Anzaldo said. “Our hands are glued to those wheels for hours at a time. You want the best. Sam’s wheels are unrivalled in the iRacing world. Whoever wins the championship is going to love having a Sam Maxwell Customs piece.”
Sam Maxwell Customs will sponsor five Lionheart Retro Series presented by ButtKicker events in 2019. Races at Homestead-Miami Speedway, Road America, Phoenix, Imola and Auto Club Speedway will each feature Sam Maxwell Customs branding. Homestead-Miami and Auto Club represent the season opener and finale.
