The Lionheart Racing Series announced today a partnership with The Simpit, the premier sim racing news and entertainment website and YouTube channel. The Simpit brings you news, reviews and information from around the world about sim racing hardware and software. They also focus on what it takes to be a better sim racer, with instructional videos and “how to’s” designed to increase your performance, making you a faster driver.

Lionheart founder Jorge Anzaldo and The Simpit founder Shaun Cole made the announcement this week, just as the Retro Series gears up for it’s All-Star Festivities.

“I’m very excited about this partnership!” Anzaldo said. “The Simpit has been delivering top quality content for years, whether it is hardware reviews or the latest news from the sim racing world.  The Simpit always puts out top quality content.  Entering into this arrangement where we can work together to help propel each other’s brands and gain viewership is a win-win.”

The partnership between The Simpit and Lionheart will see The Simpit featured in various ways on Lionheart broadcasts throughout the season.  The Simpit will be the presenting sponsor for the series “Countdown to Green” pre-race show for each event as well as the presenting sponsor for two races during the 2018 Season:  The Simpit Grand Prix of Watkins Glen (IndyCar) and The Simpit Indy 250 (Lotus 79).  The Simpit will follow the series over the course of the 2018 Season with coverage during some of their live shows.

The Lionheart IndyCar Series presented by First Medical Equipment runs on Wednesday nights, starting with the Season 6 All-Star Race on March 14. The Lionheart Retro Series presented by HPP Simulation gets underway with its inaugural All-Star Race on March 8. All Lionheart events are broadcast on the Global SimRacing Channel, with broadcasts starting at 10:35 p.m. EST
